Welcome to the SQA Early Learning and Childcare resource which contains bright and exciting materials to support learners studying Early Learning and Childcare qualifications.

Developed by SQA, in partnership with a variety of individuals and organisations, this resource lets learners watch useful videos which show early learning environments, with children from pre-birth and upwards.

Supporting interviews with professionals working in these environments are also included to give learners an insight into the day-to-day aspects of each role and the route learners could take towards becoming a childcare practitioner.

To support the video, and guide learners to explore the topics, links and suggestions for learning opportunities are provided to signpost learners to useful information, resources, initiatives and strategies relevant to children and young people in Scotland today.
